1st
Day: IN LIMA
Flight to Lima. Reception and transport to the hotel. Overnight
2nd Day: LIMA / HUARAZ
Departure in itinerary bus (special frequency) to Huaraz City, reception
and transport to the hotel.
3rd Day: HUARAZ: CALLEJON
DE HUAYLAS-PARQUE NACIONAL HUASCARAN
Full day tour visiting the Callejón de Huaylas, Valley between Cordillera
Blanca and Cordillera Negra and the meander Santa river. We will ascend
towards the Llanganuco Lakes, located at the lower slopes of the Huascarán
and Huandoy snowcapped mountains, in the Huascarán National Park. Overnight.
4th Day: HUARAZ:
CHAVIN DE HUANTAR
This tour will enable us to visit the Callejón de Conchucos, rear side of
the Cordillera Blanca, where we will find the “Castillo de Chavin”.
This castle was an important worship site of the pre-Incas culture that
bears its same name. This culture was the matrix of the Peruvian civilization.

5th Day: HUARAZ
: LIBRE/TRUJILLO
Day at leisure, possibility to make an excursion to the Pastoruri mountain,
a glacial of easy-access. night transport to the station, regular bus
to Trujillo. Overnight.
6th Day: TRUJILLO
Arrival at Trujillo early in the morning. Transport to the hotel. Short
rest before starting our trip to Chan – Chan, the largest adobe
City of all, and to the Huacas del Sol y de la Luna. The Huaca del Sol
belongs to the Chimu Culture and the Huaca de la Luna, to the Moche Culture.
We will finish our trip in the Huanchaco Beach watching the typical “Caballitos
de Totora.” Overnight.
7th Day: TRUJILLO/LIMA
Transport from the hotel to the airport or bus station. Departure to Lima.
Upon arrival transport to the hotel. Overnight at the capital city.
8th Day: LIMA / AREQUIPA
Transport to the airport. Flight to Arequipa City. Morning at leisure.
Afternoon visit to the city and its main attractive, standing out the
Santa Catalina Convent, Iglesia de la Compañía and the Museo de Altares
Andinos. Overnight.
9th Day:AREQUIPA / CAÑON
DEL COLCA
Departure to Chivay, crossing the Volcanoes Misti and Chachani and the
Salinas National Reserve, and Aguada Blanca, from which the llamas, alpacas
and the shy vicuña can be seen. Arrival to Chivay and accommodation at
the hotel. Leisure time. Overnight.
10th
Day: CAÑON DEL COLCA / AREQUIPA
Departure to the viewpoint of “La Cruz del Cóndor”, going through
the Valle del Colca and crossing the typical towns of Yanque and Maca. Viewing
of the elegant and arrogant Vuelo de los Cóndores. Return to Arequipa. Overnight. |

11th Day: AREQUIPA / CUZCO
Transport to the airport. Flight to Cusco City. Transport to the hotel.
Leisure time. Afternoon visit to the City and the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman,
Kenko, Puka Pukara y Tambomachay. Overnight.
12th Day:CUZCO: SACRED VALLEY
Coinciding with the market days (tuesday, thursday or sunday), full-day
excursion, visit to the town of Pisac and its popular fair. Continuing to
Ollantaytambo, passing through different towns of the Sacred Valley of the
Incas, where Urubamba and Calca stands out, among others. Visit to the Ollantaytambo
fortress. Return to Cuzco late afternoon. Overnight.
13th Day: CUZCO- MACHUPICCHU
Transport to train station. Crossing by railway until the Aguas Calientes
station. Bus to the Machupicchu fortress. Guided visit to the “Lost City
of the Incas”. Afternoon, continuing to the built-up area of Aguas Calientes.
Overnight at this colorful town.
14th Day: MACHUPICCHU – CUZCO
Day at Leisure. We would recommend to go up the fortress again, enjoy the
entrance of the firsts lights of sun, illuminating the fortress (it is possible
to make so from Inti Puno or Puerta del Sol) and visit the complex another
time. Whoever wants, would have enough time to climb the HuaynaPicchu or
“Young Mountain”. Afternoon return to Cuzco by train. Overnight.
15th Day: CUZCO
Day at leisure for personal activities and getting lost among the narrow
and colorful paved streets of the City, visiting museums, old palaces, churches
and old Inca palaces. Overnight at Cuzco.

16th
Day: CUZCO/PUNO
Transport to the bus station. Departure to Puno, going through colorful
towns. “La Raya” (peak: 4,300 m.) and the altiplano plateau from which llamas
and alpacas can be seen. Overnight.
Note: It is possible to make this journey by train (Mon,Wed, Fri or Sat)17th
Day: PUNO: UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS (TITICACA LAKE)
Pick up from the hotel and transport to the port of Puno. Sailing. Visit
the astonishing floating islands of the Uros and continuing to the Taquile
island, community that has preserved its ancestral customs until today,
and place from which an spectacular sight of the Lake Titicaca can be appreciated.
Afternoon return to Puno. Overnight.
18th Day: PUNO-SILLUSTANI-JULIACA/LIMA
Meeting at the hotel to Sillustani where we will visit the “Chullpas” or
pre-inca “Funerary Towers” with and spectacular sight of the Umayo lake.
continuing to the airport
of Juliaca. Return flight to Lima. Reception and transport to the selected
hotel. Overnight.
19th Day:LIMA / ICA / NAZCA
/ ICA
Transport to the station. Regular bus with destiny to Ica. Reception and
transport to Nazca. Overflight the enigmatic Nazca Lines, afternoon return
to Ica. Visit to the Regional Museum and to the Oasis of the Huacachina.
Overnight.
20th Day:ICA / PARACAS / LIMA
Transport to the port of Chaco in Paracas. Sailing in the Ballestas Islands.
Transport to the bus station. Return to Lima City. Arrival upon the end
of the afternoon. Overnight.
21th Day: CITY TOUR - OUT
LIMA
Visit to the Modern and Colonial Lima: Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the San
Francisco Convent and the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Also,
visit to the Gold Museum, which keeps a private worth collection of pre.-Spanish
pieces. Transport to the airport. Return flight. |
