To the south of
Lima we find a place rich in culture, cradles of important civilizations that
were developed in a warm desert, even it may seem a lie, the nature and men
obtained an invaluable patrimony. Ica is a land of vineyards, in the middle of
enormous dunes, vast deserts and colorful oasis like the Huacachina. Paracas,
cradle of the most enigmatic cultures of our history, with a magnificent
collection of fascinating textiles, in which coast thanks to this fantastic
nature, includes the Natural Reserve of Paracas and Ballestas Island, one of the
most important marine reserves of the Pacific, with an abundant fauna, where you
will see marine lions, seals, dolphins and a variety of gulls, cormorants and
variety of sea birds, penguins, etc. Going to the South we find Nazca and the
culture of the same name, its enigmatic lines and biomorphs figures perfectly
made which have remained during centuries preserving its enchantment and
mystery.

Considered like Patrimony
of the Humanity. They are in fact an assembly of geogliphs(out lines and figures)
that extends through the desert surface and that in spite of the years they
still remain unalterable.... an enigma of the world. There are many theories,
explanations and unsolved mysteries: how, who made them? Why can be seen at
a certain height and not at the ground level? . It has not been possible to
give a complete convincing explanation to these questions.
To arrive and see these wonders, the common access is by bus, there are regular
buses, luxurious and conventional service. There are daily departures to Paracas,
Ica and Nazca. Private service is the most recommended to know the different
towns in the area.
By air: There are direct flights in small planes
