AMAZON JOURNEYS
DREAMY IQUITOS:
01 city night
01 night (Sinchicuy Lodge)
1st day: LIMA/IQUITOS
Reception at the airport and transfer to Iquitos city, a brief introduction
and transfer to the selected hotel. Night.
2nd day: IQUITOS / AMAZONS SINCHICUY LODGE
Transfer to the pier station to get to a pamacari boat, beginning the Amazon
adventure, we will sail to our lodge nearby the border of the quiet river Sinchicuy.
Dinner. Visit a place with different kinds of orchids, plants and medicinal
herbs (we will learn how to use them), insects and the native Yagua Tribe. Nocturnal
walk to enjoy the jungle sounds. Supper and opportunity to talk to the native
guides about the history and legends of Amazonian mythology. Night
3rd day: AMAZONS SINCHICUY LODGE / IQUITOS/LIMA
We will have a sailing excursion, departure at dawn to watch a variety of birds.
After breakfast we will sail in the Amazons river and return to Iquitos. On
time transfer to the airport to get the flight to your destiny.
This program includes:

• 01 Night at the selected hotel
• 01 Breakfast.
• 01 night in the lodge with complete feeding and the detailed excursions

ADDITIONAL
JUNGLE DAY - SINCHICUY LODGE:
Additional Day
Eco-excursion sailing on a boat in the Amazon river. Visit the “kingdom
of the giant trees”, the one of the biggest in Lupuna. Dinner. We will
continue sailing to enjoy the artisan fishermen using local instruments and
know something more about the etiological fauna. Return to the Amazonas Sinchicuy
Lodge. Supper. Return to Iquitos next day after breakfast.
ADDITIONAL FROM THE SINCHICUY LODGE TO YANAYACU LODGE
3 days - 2 nights
1st Day: Departure to Tambo Yanayacu Lodge, a world wide well known area by
its rich wild life. We will sail to the reserve bye canoe to see the abundant
flora and fauna. Arrive and dinner. In the afternoon: excursion to the interior
of the jungle through a leafy forest of the Low Jungle where we will find medicinal
plants, a variety of insects, butterflies, etc. Return to the lodge. Supper.
2nd Day: TAMBO YANAYACU LODGE
Departure at dawn sailing along the river Yanayacu, we will sail and see a diversity
of birds. Breakfast at Tambo. All day expedition to Yagua Cocha Jungle, lake
in which we will sail and see the etiological fauna. Dinner. Return to the lodge.
Supper.
3rd Day:TAMBO YANAYACU LODGE / IQUITOS
Return to Iquitos through the Amazon River. On
time transfer to the airport. Return to the first deparure city.

BASE-HELICONIA
HELICONIA AMAZON RIVER LODGE
3 days / 2 jungle nights
1st Day: Reception and transfer from the airport to the pier. A fluvial journey on Amazon
River. Visit to the Bora tribe. Arrive to Heliconia Amazon River Lodge. Welcome
with a typical drink and accommodation. Dinner. Nocturnal excursion by canoe.
Supper.
2nd Day: Early
in the morning a bird watching tour. Breakfast. Visit to an artisan trapiche.
Dinner. In the afternoon fishing tour. During the tour we could appreciate some
shy pink dolphins. Supper.
3rd Day: At
08:00 hrs: Breakfast. Return to Iquitos and transfer to the airport.

Additional
from Heliconia Lodge to ACCER Lodge
3 days – 2 nights
1st Day: HELICONIA / MAZAN / SUCUSARI
Breakfast. Transfer by boat to the lodge located at 30 km. away in the shipyard
of Mazan, that is the route between Napo and Amazons rivers. Dinner. A short
excursion to the botanical garden of medicinal plants. Supper. Nocturnal tour
by canoe to hear the silence of the night at the interior of the jungle.
2nd Day: ACCER / CANOPY WALKWAY
Very early excursion to watch birds. Breakfast. Walk in the CANOPY WALKWAY or
HUNGING BRIDGE (it has more than 500 mts.of length, connected with 12 platforms,
reaching a height of more than 37 mts from the ground). Dinner. In the afternoon
excursion on a boat or walking, looking for different species of our fauna.
Supper.
3rd Day: HAMLET
/ IQUITOS / LIMA
Breakfast, visit to a native community, dinner. Transfer by boat to Iquitos
and then to the airport. Return to the origin city (Lima).
EXPLORNAPO
CAMP
5 days – 4 nights
1st Day: LIMA-IQUITOS
Reception at the airport, transfer to Explorama pier. On rapid boats we will
sail by the Amazon River about 40 Kms. from Iquitos. Arrive to the Lodge and
dinner. In the afternoon we will walk. Supper. Nocturnal excursion on a canoe
to enjoy the jungle sounds. Night.
2nd Day: EXPLORAMA INN-EXPLORNAPO
CAMP
Breakfast . Trip on a rapid boat by the Amazon and Napo rivers until arriving
at Explornapo Camp. Dinner. Walking we will see more than 200 medicinal plants,
presented by the local Shaman (Quack). Supper . Nocturnal excursion.
3rd Day: JUNGLE
Breakfast. Walk along the Hanging Bridge where the most exciting activity of
this adventure starts, at almost 40 m high and with 500 m of long. Dinner. Take
a trip on a boat to watch birds and probably idles, also we could try fishing.
Supper.
4th Day: EXPLORNAPO - LODGE
Excursion to a lake formed in the old river-bed of Napo river, in which it is
possible to see the giant Amazon Victorias, as well as the famous bird Hoatzin.
Dinner. Return to the Lodge going by Francisco de Orellana, where a monument
of the Spaniard of the same name is erected, he was the first European who visited
the Amazon. Supper.
5th Day: EXPLORNAPO CAMP - IQUITOS
Very early, an Amazon river parallel walk to visit a school, a handmade distillery
of cane brandy, riverside people. Dinner. Departure on rapid boats with destiny
to Iquitos. Transfer to the airport or Hotel.

1st Day: (SUN ).- IQUITOS - CRUISE Reception at Iquitos airport. Transfer
to get the cruises M/V AMAZONAS RIVER or M/V Srca. Reception and accommodation,
a guide on the services and programs. Supper. Night on board.
2nd Day: (MON) .- CRUISE
Watch the birds in the morning and visit to the Yaguas Indian community. Demonstration
of the use of their weapons (blow gun) and dances, in the afternoon, a visit
to Pevas, the oldest town in the Amazon. Expedition by the Flowing rivers. Night
on board.
3rd Day: (TUE).- CRUISE
Mañana de caminata por la selva para observar hermosas flores; orquídeas y plantas
acuáticas, como las Victorias Regias entre otras, pesca de pirañas por el río
ATACUARI, de regreso, aventura y expedición por los pequeños lagos cercanos.
Por la tarde visita al pueblo de CABALLOCOCHA, al atardecer viaje a través del
lago para observar caimanes en las orillas.
4th Day:(THU)
CRUISE - 3 BORDERS
03:00 Hours, arrive to the border towns of SANTA ROSA (Perú), LETICIA (Colombia)
and TABATINGA (Brazil). On time transfer to the hotel
NOTE: Leticia is the best place to spend the night due to its hotel infrastructure.
From this place it is possible to return to Iquitos on rapid boats in one day
(it is possible to return the same day), do short excursions in Santa Rosa /
Iquitos, Leticia / Bogota and Tabatinga, Manaos flights.

going by the known area of the Three Borders, this excursion includes a visit
to the near lakes of Yahuarhuaca where we will enjoy the extraordinary dusk.
